Cremator 10, When you say "turn ignition", do you mean to actually start the engine, or just press the Start button without pressing the brake?

Where, oh where, are all these obscure 'shortcuts' documented?
Is there one that disables the perimeter alarm for example?

There’s not an option to disable the perimeter alarm but you can set the alarm without setting the ultrasonics

These shortcuts are documented in the workshop manual on TOPIx - the LR technical documentation website - you can pay to access this information

Lock a FL2 with the fob once (single lock) and it activates the alarm and disables opening the doors from the outside but not inside. Volumetric sensing not activated anorl. Press lock quickly twice (double lock) and it activates volumetric as well as everything else. Tis in the owners manwell anorl.

Yup, know that. The problems are two intermittent door open alarms and bonnet open alarm, when they're not. Frigged out the bonnet sensors, but can't find anyway to frig out the door open sensors without a very expensive door electronics guts replacement.

P.S. Apologies for hijacking thread.

Hey all,

Would this work on Freelander 2 SD4 61 plate?

Thank you all in advance
Does what work? Confusingly there are 2 questions on this thread.
If you're talking about resetting the service indicator, then the trick shown here doesn't work on my 58 plate. I've no idea about a 61 plate though, unless it has the pre 2012 dashboard.
