Service indicator reset

Having recently purchased a freelander 2 Metropolis I have just changed oil/air filter and carried out an oil change. I have the Service reqd in 15 days notification on the dash ( counting down daily) and have looked on you tube and followed the procedure on how to remove the notification on the later models. Unfortunately it has failed to clear the notification. Do i have to wait until the countdown reaches 0 days or is the youtube video incorrect?

I'm not sure about the later cars, but the early FL2 has both distance based and time based service indicator, which need resetting separately.

Yes I can see pre 2012 there are 2 indicators to reset. The later dash is supposedly a single reset but it doesn't clear on mine. Mine is Nov 2014 so a really late one.

Just to close this off, it would appear this procedure worked on my late model. (its an auto)
