Sorry pal ..... it starts fine a warning light comes on ... it won't tree over 2000rpm them this goes on for 1 minute and the car drives perfect !?Some information would be good!
I am so sorry 2004 td4 2.0ltr starts fine hot cold no misfire just won't go over 2000rpm I feel like it's a sensor or somethingI think he means what engine (petrol/diesel) what year etc. What happens at 2000, does it just sit there smoothly or is it misfiring, does it do it every start, hot and cold?
Sounds like it is in limp mode, however don't know the TD4 and whether its limp mode is 2000 rpm, if you have an engine management light on then it should have recorded a fault code. If you can get that read that will help you a lot (or at least point you in the right direction)I am so sorry 2004 td4 2.0ltr starts fine hot cold no misfire just won't go over 2000rpm I feel like it's a sensor or something

I think it needs a new head gasket and redo a new exhaustMssing a cylinder then
hi
Thank you so much
I think it needs a new head gasket and redo a new exhaust
have u checked the following
1)fuel pump filter
2 )turbo filter
3) turbo actuator arm is moving
4) vacuum hoses
5) has the egr been blanked
6) maf sensor been removed and cleaned out
7) crankcase breather clean , modified to the bmw type
8) intercooler hoses for any splits, would notice smoke if there was a split
first thing i would check is the vacuum hoses on the turbo actuator , is tucked as u look at the engine left hand side , at the back of the engine , that is where the turbo filter also is, is attached on one end only
hope that helps a little
