stripped mine down yesterday to see what was going on with the horns as they were making a noise like a goose gettin pumped by the farm dog. Turns out their both goosed. To get them out I had to remove the foam that surrounds them in the area they are fitted. I got a bit of a shock when I seen how corroded the area where the body mount bolts are. I reckon that foam is the culprit as it's holding any water back from draining away. Treated all the crap with Fertan and It's back together without the foam and the horns until I get new ones.

I had a similar problem on my previous vehicle, a er, umm Frontera (wash my mouth out with soap and water). I didn't bother with trying to remove them, I just cut and diverted the wiring to a new pair of horns. Just a cheap pair, plastic "snail" horns. They made quite a noise too, by using a matched pair you should get that "Baarp" type sound instead of just a feeble "Beep". If that makes sense.
When you refit the new horns, remember to face the open ends of the "trumpets" downwards if it's possible so that any water that might get into them should run out again without doing too much damage.

Also, on your n/s one replace the metal P clip that's holding the Aircon pipe in place with a plastic one .Use a cable clip to fit.
