Well last weekend I replaced the UJ on the front prop that was shot and while under there I had a good look round at the EAS System and saw that 99% of it was there and intact. So after a year of ownership and much reading on the forum of SPOIL IT BY COILING IT I have decided to go back to air. This afternoon I rebuilt the compressor (piston seal shot) and the air dryer (filters and drying agent filthy). Managed to buy a nearly new set of bags for £120 (Dunlop) and the plan is to rebuild valve block next weekend and replace all the airlines. Hopefully this will mean that apart from the drivers pack and the ecu everything will be new as I'm also replacing all 4 height sensors with new items. Once all this is done I plan to remove the springs fit the bags and fire her up. Question one of I'm sure of many is will I have to reset the height values just because I'm renewing the sensors ,i believe that there was a generic set of values set in the ecu and so am I being naïve in thinking that once set up and connected she should rise like the perverbial phoenix from the flames ???
