This may well be the stoopedist question you've ever heard but I'm going to ask it anyway, just because I can.
After having the battery disconnected yesterday while I had the ECU out to check for any oil in the connectors, I've left the HVAC Eco mode disabled, and I'm sure the engine feel a bit smoother. I'm 99.999% sure it's purely in my head but I do enjoy asking silly questions. Is there anyway that leaving the eco mode off can affect the engine, or is it more likely that disconnecting and reconnecting the ECU has done something?
There was no oil at all in the ECU connectors and I haven't tried turning the eco mode back on, but will tomorrow on the way to work.
