Bottlejack conversion: flat head to axle cup

I've got a bottle jack similar to the one in the link below. It's fine for jacking on the chassis as its head is flat, but I'm guessing this is not so good for jacking on the axle. Is there a converter kit or a safe place I can use this jack to lift a wheel?

you could make one, a flat bar curved with a suitable short tube welded on its underside,though jack looks a tadge on the small side

Mine is rated at 10t! Vast over kill but I like having plenty of reserve factor. :d

A bit of rebar might do the trick.

Some steel channel welded on to jack might do.

I wonder if you can get these here? If not it shouldn't be too difficult for someone with the skills to make the adaptor at the end of the brochure.

Could always cut end off an old axel stand like this type and sit it over top off the ram on jack.

+1. I've done this in the past, although with stands that cost £1 from a charity sale.

Yeah me too I only added link to show the type off stand. I got mines from a car booty for £1 and cut it up.
