Front of the switch just pops off, but you don't need to take it out to remove the lamps. They are tiny 1/4 turn things which are installed in the RHS of the switch body as you are looking at it from the front.

Ah, I know what you're on about. A green and an orange thing just back from the front. Wondered what they were for!

Best dig out my feeler guages. Cannot remember the last time I checked a spark plug or a pair of points.

I must have cocked something up. Nighttime illumination isn't working and neither is the tell-tale, although the switch and relay works fine. Swear I spliced in the same colours to each other.

Going to have to take the whole lot apart again.

Switch bulbs replaced and all is good! Many thanks to MartyUK for donating the bulbs.
