Engine seized 300tdi

I'm guessing seized piston cos surely the pressure below would just be blown through the engine breather
Unless breather blocked......but then the pressure would just pop a hose off or blow oil from the seals somewhere....hmmmmm

I am leaning towards seized crank or piston .....

Maybe you could whip the sump off and take a look from underneath

Has the elastic band snapped? Did yer forget to wind it up? ;)

See if you can get it fixed and take it from there. Turning with the belt removed will help to isolate the fault. This could be the last fix which puts it on the road for a long time. Failing that px it for a Freelander but expect to hand over an additional £7k in cash if you do. ;)

Just out of interest how many gaylanders could I buy for seven grand and a goosed tratter? I don't really want a different one for every day of the month :D
