Hi Robbie,

Not yet. I've just got back from holiday on Mon night, so I've been catching up around the house. Might have a chance this week. I'm going to swap the boost pin back for my original as it's smoking with it in, so I'm worried about overcooking it.

Holiday eh? Alright for some lol..

My pump was tuned before I had the engine and when I put my boost pin in it smoked even on tick over so I wheeled everything back in an attempt to stop the over fueling. I also reinserted the plastic washer and it only smoked on boost now, you won't cook anything unless you're tanking it. Once you get it in you'll see how low the egt is until you put your foot to the floor. Now when I boot it I let off once the temp starts to hit 700 degrees.

I couldn't get the proper tap tool in. It's too tight for space lol. My cordless drill worked a treat on speed setting one and has a brake inside it so as soon as I let go it stops. Plan b was to drill it bigger and weld it in anyway so it's all good.

I use a little spanner to turn taps. Think it's a 6mm. I find it easier to control and feel what's going on than using the larger tools.

Well, just drilled the manifold on my '200tdie after looking & drilling a spare manifold in the garage using a vice & battery drill...

As you can see what happens if you are a genius aswell as being an accomplished drill snapper

Turbo & manifold off to turn upside down while shaking to dislodge a little bit of bloody drill

Obviously today's idiot award goes to ME

For the record, I drilled the easy place above the turbos flange, had the great idea of 'pipping' the decider between 1/4 & 2/3 primary pipes to steady the tip of the probe, this is where the wheels fell off

believe it or not, I don't think I was, just that the tip was sorta against the divider so ping

& I have a whole book of excuses

Fair play lol. Did the snapped bit fall inside the manifold? That's bad luck. I usually press that hard that it snaps clean in what I'm drilling I can always get it out lol.
