Hi can anyone tell me what colour my coolant should be. 96plate dse auto thanks

Thats what im trying to find out lol different colours for different engine materials. Want to know whats right for mine. Want to flush system out and fresh in.

Antifreeze can be any colour the a manufacturer chooses. You can get the latest OAT antifreeze in yellow, green and of course the common red.

When your vehicle left the factory it had Rovers green/yellowish colour antifreeze installed.

Euro car parts say g13 and its purple any idea if g13 is right. I have about 8ltrs of pink g13 from my transporter

Dont mix OAT and non OAT, it kills the additives in them and will go horrible brown rusty colour!!!

The main dealer will see you coming mate! buy it from your local motoring shop it'll be the exact same stuff.. I read on here that you should buy the cheapest coolant you can as your likely to have to drain it all out again sooner or later to fix another issue lol

Go mid range price wise and buy some pink OAT stuff

Okays spot on ta. Got receipts for a new rad set of coolant pipes o rings and a metal coolant pipe in 2011 so hopefully no issues for a bit lol
