While getting ready for a new prop and replacing some uj's I thought I'd take off the Tbox to try and solve a low range not holding issue.

I did find an Allen key screw that seemed loose which I'm sure is the culprit, but thoughts on the teeth? Any need replacing while the box is out..,

Thoughts on the photos

Thats potentially going to be noisy.
I would be looking around for another box, if not now for future use as that pitting has got to weaken the teeth.

you need to change oil more regularly especially after wading, you adjust the 6mm grub screw on rear top box side until it wont change gear then undo gradually till it does, then ensure linkage is adjusted so it goes in to low and high equally and fully

Splines on input gear are good. Was pleased when I opened it up. Expecting bits to fall out.

So not worth purchasing any new gears?
