I think my fuse blowing is down to the internal fuse box (under the steering wheel) being knackered.

Doing searches and looking on ebay there appears to be two types.

AMR5420 and AMR1522.

Before I get the wrong one ......
anyone know what the differences are ?

Mines a 98 Disco1 300tdi.

the difference is that AMR1522 is not a D1 fusebox;), i'm sure you mean AMR1552 which was supeceded by AMR5420 and actually it's
YPP100290L as new, so if you want a used one from eabay any of the above 3 part numbers is good

Thanks sierrafery

Yes I meant 1552, too much cider!!

Thanks for info. Guess it's best to try and get the latest version I can find .

With apologies for resurecting this old thread, does anyone know if the two, AMR 1552, and AMR5420 are interchangeable please?

reason is that mine (AMR5420) has been butchered by a previous owner (!), - the flasher relay now falls out!! and I have a '1552 "in stock" - I would retain the existing MFU if the fuse box itself is compatible..

TIA
