Not without incident. Radiator developed a small split on the morning after our arrival in the UK in the usual place along the plastic top where the bleed pipe moulding is located. I guess cruising at 75/80 for 5 hours was too much for it. No overheat though.
Tried to fix it with fibre glass, lasted 2 days
I'm a bit ****ed off at having to buy a new RAD as I have a spare at home but not worth risking the engine.
The split was where the cowl mount adds stress.
As a result, I only did 940 miles instead of the expected 1,200.
Heavily loaded heading for the UK and cruising at 75/80mph it turned in a smidgin over 26mpg, on the return run, again heavily loaded, cruising at 70mph it managed just under 28mpg, not bad IMO. Dropping to 60mph it would go up to 30mpg.
