coolant leak...?

Good advice all round guys. Will get onto a new pump in the morning.
Any advice as to best place to buy a decent OEM at a decent price?

Island 4x4 are usually pretty good


Water Pump 4.4 V8 02-06 BMW Petrol L322 (Hella) 8510324G Island 4x4 - Specialists in Land Rover and Range Rover Parts and accessories for all models. UK and worldwide mail order.

Worth Paying the extra and get genuine IMO with a part like that.
Make sure you do the o ring too

When draining the coolant, would you reuse it after fitting the new pump?
I ask, because I've only just put new coolant in after replacing a split hose..

If you can catch it and filter before reusing I don't see why not

If you need new anti freeze, euro car parts are pretty good.
Remember lots on anti freeze, it's going to be a coooold winter apparently.... !!

genuine only for me, personally I wouldn't consider anything else ,simply isn't worth it imo .whatever the pump costs genuine l/r is no where near the price of engine failure.

Anti freeze is only £20 a bottle

Just renew it

Least it will have had a good flush through !
