Window Faults

2001 DHSE

So now air con fixed two new faults today!

1) Both rear window switches on main panel have stopped working together. The rear door switches work fine.

2) Boot lock keeps intermittently stop working, also doors keep pulsing shut when I drive a long.

Any suggestions welcome.

Pulsing locks can be down to RF unit issues....

Boot locks can get full of water.....

Window issues *may* be down to central switch panel, oddly, they can suffer water ingress and knacker the switches.....

1) pull the switch pack out, rinse out the switches with switch cleaner and check the connector for corrosion.
2) A rusted spring in the boot button or a corroded connector can also cause the locks to pulse.

Yep, just not WD 40
