New Owner , Insurance costing more than my S4

New owner of a TD4 5dr Auto , just insured my car , and i have had to pay an extra £35 premium ontop, the car before was a Audi S4 Avant.

Are these cars expensive to insure at the young Age of 44 with over 9+ years of no claims?

Insurance co. will increase your premium for no reason, just in the hope of getting away with it.

there would be a admin charge, but surely the premium would lower, were talking of say a Insurance Group 18/19 Audi S4 to a Group 12 Landrover.

would be cheaper to cancel your policy and take up a new one, bet it would be cheaper to restart your policy with the same insurer (cancel it then take out a new one)
