Hi guys and gals,

I have an issue with bushes on the drop-link at the rear, where the anti-roll bar bolts on. They're slack as and need replacing for an MOT - I ordered what I thought was the right ones, which are 4 of these:

But someone's had a look at them and told me they're not the right bushes - can someone help? In the picture attached to the message I've circled the part of the drop-link I mean - this part is very loose.

Have I got the right term to get the right bushes? If they're not the right ones, can someone give me a link to the right ones? Or if they are, can someone describe how to fit them in?

Cheers

Yes those are the right ones, i used to replace mine every time it had to go for its mot due to it chewing em up from laning/axle twist now i just take the whole roll bar off after its been for the mot and save me self £6 a year! :pound:

These are the ones ive bought in the past,

To fit em you simply just undo the bolts on both sides, so the roll bar drops down and push em in with your fingers, pt bolts back in and tighten up its that easy! the bolt is a shoulder bolt so you cant even over tighten em and squash em so you`ll be ok there too

Ok guys thanks for your help - re the MOT, I've already taken it and it's failed with this as one of the items to sort - I had thought about removing them but figure if it's failed on the bushes, removing the bar isn't a "fix" from the MOT testers point of view. I'll have a go tomorrow!

Bushes fitted today, very easy indeed  not sure why I thought it would be harder than it was - I guess thinking back I've never done anything at all suspension related, despite doing lots of other things engine-related/mechanical
