Was it superlocked?? as the Alarm should have sounded...also I gues you were running a Aftermarket Head Unit, as the P38 ones aren't worth nicking!!And just to cap it all some evil little toerag broke driver's window & nicked my radio last night . . .
Oh well . . .
Feel for you bud....I had my Classic Stolen in Jan 2011, it wasn't much to look at but it was one of the best RR's I have had...only to be nicked, then burnt out!..No it wasn't superlocked, my fault I know, I know, The thing is saint, it was only an old Kenwood that I've had since 2007 and have transferred through 3 cars.
It honestly wasn't worth nicking. It's just . . . you know
If I had the space and the money, I'd have a L322 for Daily Drive, A P38 for variation, and a Classic for Evening/Weekend fun times and just looking at - a sorted Classic is a thing of beauty!!!Sorry Saint, who in their right mind would burn out a Classic? JEEZ! I would put that as a crime against humanity, seriously!
I don't know if it's still there but up to recently the Huddersfield Land Rover Centre had one of the first Classic's built on display (don't know if it was production or pre-production) but heck man! It was something else . . .

A Range Rover has that effect on people...Always was always will be.
I remember them first coming out, remember seeing one in the very early days (70/71?) all plastic & vinyl, but still head turners. I wanted an RR ever since, this old bus is the first one I could ever afford & for all it gives me countless headaches I love it.
Sometimes I look out of the kitchen window & think, 'Hey, that beauty out there is MINE!!!!'
There she sits buddy, just gleaming in the sun. There to greet a working man when the day is done . . .
Too young to appreciate the best decades of music too then!!A Range Rover has that effect on people...
Afraid to say, I am not old enough to remember the first Classics (Born 1978)
