question is.. it hasent got the sub in the boot and after looking on ebay it seems there not that expencive so was wondering if its possable to retro fit them and to get them to work with an aftermarket radio or am i better just getting a normal box and amp

same scenario on my l322.

no sub as standard.

so i got hold of the factory subwoofer box, changed the speakers to aftermarket and installed an aftermarket amp

sounds great, and its all hidden away ! lol

cant have anyone seeing a boy racer sub in the boot now can we ! :p

That's the way to do it, as long as you change the speaker to match your new amp. I remember Clarky130 going on about matching / impedances and after all the work that he did he replaced the original sub.

i dont think the current altenator and battery will like the sub install i want to do lol. I am currently looking into getting a bigger altenator and putting another battery in.

Would i be able to wire up the original rangerover amp to the aftermarket radio? And does anyone know which wire goes were? Im not wanting pounding base like these boyracers im puting in a dvd system so just want some deep base without straining the door speakers
