Is there any such thing as a good P38? Some are less bad than others, but good?
Theres always one.......well maybe more but.....
Well I am happy with my one (fingers tightly crossed with what about to type:jaw

.
I've owned it for 5 years now, holidays in the UK and down to Southern France its never let me down, apart from once when the clutch roll (spiral) pins broke but even then I drove it home.
The only issues I have at the moment are the high/low change and some of the centre console and dash lights have blown.
I've had to do all the 80,000+ mile maintenance bits, air bags, air-con rad/gas, cooling system overhaul, shockers, brake disc's and other things, but for a Rangie with over 117,000+ mls on the clock, that's not bad..
I reckon the last 5 years, its cost me 1400 GBP max in parts, ok I've also purchased diagnostic's as well on top of that, I do all my own work on it, but even so still cheap to some peoples total outlay on repairs.
Remember we generally only see people here with problems who have purchased a vehicle and then have to repair them on a shoe string. There must be vehicles that are well maintained and are reliable, otherwise we would have thousands of members here.
