get a 3 legged filter wrench and a long bar.. never had one stay stuck with that set up.

Lower rim surely, if a screw driver driven through the body won't shift it ****ting the top edge wont either.
the rim then ,yes it does work even when 3 jawed clamp has bent and twisted filter up as your knocking against the only solid part of filter ,you need to try harder:rolleyes:

a long screw driver and chisel top edge round

Will try adn find a longer screw driver, by chisel top edge round, do you mean stick a chisel in it and hammer it round to try and tempt it around, surely thatll just push through the casing in a ripping motion?
You are twisting it the right way aren't you..............................................

Daz

Balls ;) Na, im fairly sure so, i did try it both ways just to be on the safe side.. ;) :boxing:

But its such a bitch to get any sort of good contact on..

top edge /rim is rolled over the filter top its the most solid part

Need to try harder at what cock bod?? To do what you suggest you need to use a blunt instrument, not a chisel like thing. And yes, I've come across a few difficult oil filters in my time, I don't kneed to try harder.

big long screw driver works fine i know from experience,if you really have ,give out some useful info, instead of trolling me

Next time try warming the engine first. Be sure to remove the rubber seal, it will be stuck up in the groove. Hope I am not telling you how to suck eggs though. Good luck.
