Stolen Roll Cage on Merseyside

Hi - the external parts of the roll cage on my Anniversary 50th were half inched on the night of 28th October.



If anyone sees any trucks using one as a glorified light bar (it's completely useless without the internal parts) please give me a heads up !

The profile on the roll hoop on the 50ths are unique to these vehicles so there's no way anyone can get away with pretending it's a custom job - never mind the prohibitive expense of getting one new from Landrover/Safety Devices.

Oi Elcynico, you are going to have the Landyzone nutters down your throat. They will most likely advise(but not so nice as this) that a small introduction would be most polite, followed by details of your theft. Hope you recover it and the theivin' scroats get caught.

Not that unique as they come on g4 limited edition an also NAS spec... me an my brother both have genuine roll bars or as you say glorified light bars an were both in mersyside


This guy sells them on eBay all the time so you don't have to pay the silly prices LR or safety device are asking

Yes the roll cages do appear on the G4s and NAS (and also dummy bars on the "Black Edition" and Tomb Raider vehicles etc) but the profile of the hoop is specific to the 50th (different part numbers) - it only shares the same traverse bar under the windscreen as the other vehicles.

I bothered to post this on here - not cos I figured you're all Superheroes and that this forum has a 100% recover rate but just in case some one sees a knackered old 90 sporting an expensive silly decoration driving around....

I've already replaced mine through my insurance.

Lanny Man - thanks - have seen those bars - look like they're off the Black Edition - must be old stock that LR have gotten rid off has they've changed OE supplier from Safety Devices to Whateverthey'rename is !

NOT an LE - the roll cage was black, mounting bolts looked "rusty".

It COULD have been - though a bit dumb if it is to be driving it locally. That's why I'm asking on here if anyone knows this vehicle so I can rule it out of my "enquiries".
