Power to weight ratio is betterer in the v6 than the v8 int it? Yer can buy a standard v6 Freelander so theres no need to mess about trying to get the transmission to work.
If you really want a v8 then wait till monday and look in the for sale section.

i'll have you know i've driven through flood water up to the top of the wheel arches, young man, and she never missed a beat
Yes, but has it got any Chinese bits on it?

Pics or it didn't happen
I were busy at the time, mostly laughing at the guy in the new Jag ( getting a bollicking of his missis) who'd stalled in the middle of the flooded road
If you watch the bit before you see a tratter drive oft the hill. We have to wait for a bit while he reverses into the water and tows out a disco. Disco was in the car park after blowing white smoke out the eggsource for a bit. I think they should warn peeps of the depth before they go through.it were about the same depth i went through only i think you went a little quicker than i did

It’s down to having faith in yer vehicle of choice. Reliable. Dependable. Performs when required and does so with the minimum of fuss.
that can get real expensive
no probs for the Freelander though
