Gearbox snake oil

Some time ago someone on here reccomended some form of gearbox snakeoil to help with notchy gear changes.
Can anyone remember what it is?

i wanna try it, before I remove mine - just to see if it works.... I have the usual R380 wont go into 4th problem.

I am using that castrol smx synthetic gear oil Halfords sell and have been for 3 yrs now-my gearbox is very smooth-might be worth a try.
I am only using it as cannot get mtf locally and paddocks wont ship it

I am rather fond of Slick 50 snake oil, have used it in various gearboxes all with good to great results...

Have a look at Ashcroft transmission site.....they list I believe 3-4 different products they use in there transmissions,transfer boxes,and rear diffs

Synthetic gear oil and what ever brand you use is up 2U. AMSOIL - Synthetic Manual Synchromesh Transmission Fluid (MTF)
