Urgent help needed, broken screen

Hi, my mate stu, is on his way to wales for a weekend laning and his windscreen has shattered, he is hoping someone has a screen for sale around mid wales area,

Only problem with them being bonded screens they are a bastid to remove second hand.

Maybe a call to that company with the suicide inducing strap line is in order.

yeah, he's got it but they cant get to him untill mid afternoon tomorrow, and thats if they can contact him, as phone reception around welsh lanes is hit and miss at best, looks like he's gonna get muddy and wet,

I made it to camp lol
Coverd some of the steen with duct tape so it didnt come throw
Insurance is sorted and coming out Monday when I'm home
Just have to see how long it lasts till it falls out
I will get recovery home Sunday or before if it goes lol I'm here so might as well lane

Soz mate, as didnt get back I attempted to fit it in mine and it now looks pretty similar to yours. Doh. Shoulda got a new rubber.

i still have a broken windscreen on the 90, the insurance came out today, they sent the AA windscreen van, but didn't bring a new rubber !! so i told them they not fitting it without a new rubber.
the fella was a nice chap that told me the book price for the job that the insurance was being charged £426 plus the £75 i had to pay, said he would be back on sunday.
so i ring around and iv got a local place coming out tomorrow to fit it with new rubber for £70 plus VAT.
iv now cancelled the insurance doing it. the price the AA want to charge is more than i pay on a years cover and don't want it passing on at renewal time lol

Bejeesus thats one mullered rubber. Doing mine myself in the morning. Old screen is out and rubber soaking. Will scrub the channels and check them before I fit it.

Is there a thread how to fit it? If not I will do one. **** easy. Mine cost me £43, but seeing as second one do to being a dipstick last time double that.
