Took the rear pads out and sanded them down slightly to get rid of the glaze on them, hopefully that will stop the brake squeaking

If the squeal is still there, try chamfering off the leading edge of the pad.






I emptied another load of burnables out the back of mine and did the final measuring up before I start chopping the roof bars down to size.

made a start on fabricating a heavy duty plating for the rear cross member ready for the new nato hitch , need to take the plate into the engineering shop tomorrow where i been working and use their pillar drill to drill it out to take the bolts

Changed my gearbox oil and noticed the tranny box was leaking badly so need to investigate!

on my td5: cleaned map,aap,maf and repaired the connection on boost control valve pirburg made, the brown wire was cutted so no wonder it wont work.....

Took mine to Hlfords auto centre (no choice due to warranty package) because of the steering box leaking. They also said the gearbox and engine sump are leaking. So we have confirmed I own a land rover. Hehehe
