im thinking of lifting my freelander eg taller/bigger springs but never heard of anyone doing it? any ideas??
i'm probably gonna get some sarcastic comments on here but some serious answers would be great too lol:D

wheels and tyres would be better choice as you will compromise handling with a lift

ok thanks fanatic i'll take that into consideration, Theres a few good off road courses near me and im thinkin of takin my freelander but wanna do some mods first. i had a little sportrak that i use to have untill some little sh1t pinched it with a forklift truck! i can put some pics on here if anyones interested in seein em?

Ignore the tratter boys un their stooooopid comments.

Yer can fit a lift kit. Max is 50mm. When lifting with independent suspension the suspension arms are angled more. This can cause problems with the camber compensation pins - or something like that. The easy option is to fit bigger tyres. But your limited to size.

Personally I have bothered lifting mine as it dun't make much difference. Many on ere have. It's a popular topic if you do a search.

cheers everyone for the amount i'll be taking it off road i'll just start with the tyres and see how it goes from there. im not gonna hold my breath its only a 2.0 td but eh we'll see how it goes.
How do i put pictures on here from my hdd or do i have to put them on photobucket ect first?

cheers hippo, i love goin off road but after the stories ive heard about the freelander im a bit sceptical but only one way to find out i suppose..............!
