Always wanted vertical exhaust. Like on trucks with there flap on the top.

We had to bodge up a mates snorkel a while ago and ran flexi pipe from the air can out under the bonnet and up inside the cab, duct taping it to the sun visor...It made a horrific ammount of noise so it's probably best to keep it outside the cab.![]()
They mount them up the windscreen for a reason, if it ain't broken then don't fix it
Thats exactly what I have seen done.
Thats always been the simplist way however they are very vulnerable to damage on the front wing especially in among trees etc, so from a trialing point of view it makes sense to tuck them out the way behind a truck cab.

Wish I had a truck cab....V8 with twin stacks:love:thats exactly why i put mine up the back of the cab , seen so many guys loose tops off thier snorkels or ripped um off all together
