Treated myself to one of these whilst sorting various other things out ................. and all i can say is 'my god what a difference' !!!

Also go for ........ k&n air filter , Egr valve blanking kit

If your toying with the idea ......... do it, you will not be disappointed !

Taking the old pipe out without removing the cross members is a bugger (and they don't come off easy) so if ur just taking the old pipe to the scrapies save yourself alot of hassle and saw it in front of the cat box ........ comes out alot easier in halves !!

Fitting the new de-cat pipe .......... i found alot easier with the car jacked up that side and feed it down thro the engine bay until it touches the ground and then from under neath ease over the cross members and into position ......... 1 hour tops :)

You will keep finding excuses to go for a drive after this

Enjoy.

Colin.

I know exactly how u feel.... unfortunately i dont have the chance of a proper ECU remap around here to be 100% enraptured.

Sierrafery, why don't you send your ECU over to TD5Alive or similar?

Sure you'd have to negotiate on shipping etc, but...

I thought that they do it via the OBD port, never crossed my mind this variant... but it will from now on;) ... anyway after a long search i've fitted a Kuberl tuningbox programmed for Td5 by the delaler and i'm quite pleased... though i know that's far from an ECU remap. Thanks for the tip anyway :)
