Why are defenders so slow?

drive trains are very under rated they will handle 3 to 4 times engine rated horse power. think when you put it low range and hammer it you have alot more horse tha 100 engine rated. what is the ratio in low low range will give you the horse power

Yu cannot increase the horsepower. That is complete bollocks!

It doesn't give you more power, it increases the torque at the wheels. And people are always breaking diffs and snapping halfshafts in low range, it happens to someone almost every time I go to a pay and play.

Not all fenders are slow.

The standard one is a Garrett, is it not? What model is your upgraded one? Got a link?

Yes garrett is standard. This is bigger. I don't have a link because I got it from a mate and it was on his engine when he bought it. He just bought a 200tdi engine. I don't know what it's off or where it's from but it is noticeably bigger than the original and shiny which seems to suggest it hadn't been on that engine long before he bought it. It gives a big kick though when you hit the right revs and it spools up.

Think they were £695 (for 4 on -32 16x8 rims), £720 with a set of locking wheel nuts. I got them from silverline. never bought from them before but they were the cheapest by a long way and their customer service was excellent. :D

Thanks Boris thats a good price in line with us prices:D:D:D
