So I fitted all my new clutch yesterday and lifted the gearbox back in. The drivers floor pan wouldn't quite line up so i drilled new holes along the rear (above the fuel tank) and drilled a little too far. now got a 3.5mm hole in the fuel tank :doh::doh: so what can i block it up with? I was thinking of a very tight fitting rivet then tiger seal?

Thanks in advance, Harry

Petro patch. Get it from motorfactors...or halfrauds if you have to. Petrol/diesel will prob perish or liquidise tiger seal.

if the hole is close enough take the sender out put a nut and bolt in the hole with fibre washer inside of tank

chemical metal. Like epoxy, but for men. :)

Liquid metal !!!

OR

drain the tank, pull it , gaffer tape the hole, fill it with water, turn it so the hole is at the top and weld, If its a diesel even less chance of it going wrong.

Just weld the hole up.

Be sure to leave the fuel in the tank for extra hilarity.
