Does anyone know what happened to the freelander owners club, tried googling it but takes me to some directory file. I see they have a stand at driffield so obviously they are still on the go. I want to put my hippo on the stand
Any Help Please

Id join, but Belgium is a little far away from Cardiff!! Still a shame we cant have a Freelander UK for the offroad types.

Mathias was a very nice chap too :D

Yes he is indeed. He was also present on the RB we did on february 13th.

If you saw these sweaters with LR etc. on it was he who started the idea of making these and he took care of everything.

If you live in the lincolnshire, cambrigeshire, norfolk or suffolk fens there is a fenland freelander owners club. I have just started the club for owners of the generation 1 freelander. Membership is £10.00 per year. If you are interested in joining see the contact details on the website
Fenland Freelander Owners Club This is a new club and we are still adding to the site as we go along.Hopefully this post will generated some interest.

£10 a year for a club with a handful, if any members? And what would I get for my £10?

Nice that your an established member on here and talking about taking money already?

I support the idea, just not the cost or the way it's come about

I have owned various land rovers over the years: series 3,Discovery and Defenders. I recently bought a 3 door td4 which i am well pleased with. Sadley the National Freelander club closed down as there was no one willing to take over the running of it. I noticed that there have been suggestions for a new national club but no one seems to want to get involved. Running a nationwide club takes up a considerable amount of time and effort and money. With this in mind i decide to have ago at running a local club covering the Fens. This is not an online club it is a proper club with planned meetings club regalia and events. Membership is free all we ask is memnbers support any events planned. Hopefully it will take off we'll see. Would be good to see others starting local clubs in their area.

Membership is £10.00 per year which is well cheap in this day and age. If the club takes off there will be a membership card and window sticker when joining as you will appreciate there is a cost involved in printing t.hese. Any remaining funds will go towards organising events etc. Hopefully it will take off we'll see.

You have everything you need here all sorted and for free. We organise events and meets though it would be nice if a few more of the LZ Freelander owners got more involved.

Thanks for the reply, didn't realize LZ held events i 'm up for it.Had a re-think on the FFOC membership and decided to make it free membership. This will certainly save me a lot of time and hassle. No more comments what do i get for my money.

By the way been registered on the LZ forum 6 years now i believe how time flies.
