I'm happy with my AT's.

Goes anywhere except small muddy lakes.

I agree they are good tyre's, i read loads of posts before selecting mine.

But, if they all needed replacing. would you go AT or MT:rolleyes:
Now I'm enjoying using the Disco for the purpose it was made for, I would be inclined to go with MT's.

Probably another set of General Grabber AT's.

MT's Will give you more grip in the mud(hence the name)but no where near as good on ice or wet tarmac, AT's are more civlised on the road, and will do almost as much, MT's only come out on top when your in deep wet ****e, you have to weigh up off road time to everyday driving. MT'S are noisier. If you can't make your mind up Ive got a set of nearly new muds on alloys in my workshop you can put them on yours for a week or so to see how you get on with them might help you to decide. ( they are not for sale though )

Cheers Geoff, I may take you up on that one day. I totally agree ref compacted snow and rain, after all AT's have more rubber in contact with the road.

At the moment I'm just keeping an eye on ebay for a cheap local set of alloys.
Not desperate as there's plenty i need to do first (namely wading kit & tow bar).

PS anyone free for a few lanes Wednesday night?

So I think we're off to the zoo.

Thanks anyway
I'll keep an eye on the herts thread and maybe tag along at some point.

Cheers Nick.

thanks for the offer, i am tied up this weekend but would do it another time.
Is that the Royston out harlow way, we have done most of the lanes between north braintree and stansted, would be good to do some out your way.

Also I have a week off work next week so would like to do a bit of daytime laning/fording.
Either Langham and on to Ipswich way. Or head over towards Violets lane direction.
Your thoughts chaps? Haven't had the chance to get any good daytime pictures for a while and the Landy could do with a wash.

Only cause it don't work! :p
MOT is up end of next month and the mechanic may have an issue with that lol.
Mansfield offered a pattern on at 47 notes plus the VAT, so still looking like it won't have one!
