I knew it was in disco's from 1998 but all the 1998 defenders I've seen have been 300tdi's.

am not shore but didn't the XS come out till 2001-2002 ???? an its the first R reg td5 Ive ever seen 1998 yes but usually on an S reg not R

dont think its a ringer just an early td5 with 'XS spec'. seller doesnt claim its an xs just has front seats.

td5 engine was released in 1998 so could just be a very early model
