What year is that freelander and as already asked what tyres were they both running on cos the disco although spinning its wheels wasn't throwing any snow up where as the freelander obviously had some kind of special tyres going by the amount of snow it was digging up, my bet is the disco had bald road tyres on to give the F/L a fighting chance.

There's also this one. I was sat watching a recovery where RR man pulls someone out of mud, then shouts out he's not got time to help those who keep getting stuck. Then drives off and gets bellied out on a hill climb. All done in good humur, when his mates waved me over to pull to.

did you bother to read the comments on the vid? it is all about tyres. disco has old worn tyres and the gaylander has good winter rubber. :rolleyes::doh:

Looks like bald tyres on the freelander. Notice the disco was on firmer ground too.
If he wanted to, the freelander could have pulled the **** box in to the mud and left it to rot. :D

nothing to do with the tyres (unlike the 1st vid), more the ease at which the disco dragged the gaylander out ;)

found the last vid better, off roading a gaylander :confused: the guy couldnt drive in a rut without panicking and would have been better off staying on tarmac. Or if feeling really adventurous.....................







a bit of gravel in a car park should do it :D:D:D
