the only bad bit

well so far the only bad bit of corrosion ive found while prepping me 90 is the rear door bottom back .

from the pics do you think its worth cutting out and welding a new piece in?

the bonus ive come accross so far,is both corner bulkhead panels have been replaced

the drivers door looks brand new as does the passenger door..

That's brilliant. Wish I had the space and the equipment to give mine a good re-spray and weld up the old holes here there and everywhere. Looking good What colour will you be finishing it in? Oh and just to make you feel really smug. My door bottoms are non existent all round

I found something similar to your rear door on my passenger door last weekend, so i stripped it down nd gonna try save it with some 25mm box and some 1.5mm sheet i'll try stick up some pics when im home from college tonight... dunno if it'll help anyone but no harm tryin i suppose!

wish I had a space like that to work on mine..specially for the Disco as I'm back to welding, before I put it for sale.

got a gravity fed gun with inbuilt hopper for the sand,then it connects to the compressor,works well

im using kiln dryed sand from b&q £3 a bag

be very careful, Wilts - Silicosis from Sand dust. Get a GOOD facemask

already have to fit the steering guard and Guardian rock/tree sliders, but havent got round to it yet..

also want to wash and brush the chassi and axles and give them a coat of rust protection and paint

The disco looks a bit stupid with the 90 tyres...but hey! wasnt going to sell it with the insas on!

Nowt wrong with a bit of Tangeers orange or the like. I've thought about it myself, but I'll stick with my yellow for now I am now also in need of bulk head corner repairs. I've found that mine are rotten today - bugger
