Datatek I did as you suggested and the rear passenger window now operates, I used contact cleaner, front passenger window does not work is it worth me trying to repair the switchpack, thanks for all your help guys.

Thanks for the responses Wammers, I've checked it's not the fuses and the two connectors behind the panel in the passengers footwell appear ok, no damp or corrosion.

If the European MOT rules are introduced there will be problems with a wide range of cars/vehicle not to mention puttings custom cap shops etc out of business, and compensation claims-HMG will not do it.
