Happy New Year. All has been well with my MY2000 4.6 for a while now, until yesterday that is, both nearside windows have stopped working, mirrors and sun roof are fine and there are no messages on the dash, any thoughts welcome.

Thanks for the responses Wammers, I've checked it's not the fuses and the two connectors behind the panel in the passengers footwell appear ok, no damp or corrosion.

Thanks Datatek I should have checked the rear passenger window switch before!, yes it works so that indicates the centre console switchback ?.

Yep, common failure. If you are handy, you may be able to fix it, you can try switch cleaner round the switches for starters while toggling them.(NOT WD40!)

Datatek I did as you suggested and the rear passenger window now operates, I used contact cleaner, front passenger window does not work is it worth me trying to repair the switchpack, thanks for all your help guys.

Not done a P38 switch pack, but others have taken them apart with varying degrees of success. Done many on fords though.
Problem is often just crap collected in the switch, sometimes also dry solder joints.
