Ok so another shot at this beast. can only find wiring diagram for a 1996 p38 is that the same as a 1995 Connected a new front right sensor with new wiring to ecu pin 1 from sensor to 21 on ecu which shows orang/pink colour pin 2 from sensor to 23 on ecu which shows orange/yellow colour pin 3...

So now have new seals on compressor so working alot better, also checked and no further leaks. But still problems with rh sensor, took reading today after clearing fault again. access 64 - 124 - 67 - 68 (not fully locked) standard 139 - 92 - 100 - 100 (fully locked) high 157 - 80 - 124 - 115...

It was sold as a new genuine range rover p38 sensor. Will check all that in the next couple of days and rewired from sensor to ecu

the one i got I was told fits a 1994 to 2002

The sensor in question is a brand new one

ok so out tonight in her and 4 times (approx every 30 mins) went into soft mode, luckly had laptop with me so cleared fault which showed rhsensor incorrect each time ?

Used wiring dia for a 1996 as can't find a 1995 one. pin 1 to 21 on ecu pin 2 to 23 on ecu pin 3 to 24 on ecu

Have put three new wires to this new sensor straight to ecu as previous wiring was showing nothing on my meter.

Have ordered new pump seal just incase and will then give a full check on it. Have also checked all round and found no other leaks, but noticed today as I parked up and turn engine off that it lowered its self. Later in the day had all 4 light fully on solid with fault again, frsensor incorrect...

Valve block and ecu came off 2 different range rover's which was in full working prior to removal

So far replaced rear left airbag with new one, front right new height sensor and wiring to ecu. Replaced ecu unit along with valve block and drive box, air pressure switch. Cleared fault with easunlock software. On easunlock software, calibrate reading are as follows: access - 72 72 68 68 low...

Yes had put it into extended height mode for that reading

ok so hopefully getting their. Found leak on rear left airbag - now replaced with new one. Up she goes with pump coming on and off. After short drive around goes into fault mode all 4 lights on, then short while later drops down to bump stop with the 35mph message on dash. so run easunlock...

Have also swapped relay round but no diff as well

so new problem now over the weekend, has been running fine. Dropped down a bit overnight - start engine she tries to rise up with pump comming on for about 5 secs. So take yellow relay out jump connection and pump kicks in so after 4 - 5 mins she goes to correct height. Replace jump connection...

so she was up and running yesterday no problem, but end of the day came up with a soft fault again off rh sensor which reset with software this morning and that sorted it again. Now also noticed she had dropped down this morning so have gone round spraying with soapy water looking for leak. All...

So she's up and running yesterday with no problems, but this morning noticed she had dropped down. After running engine with pump going she went back up again, so now trying to find leak. Have sprayed with soapy water and found slight bubbling around exhaust valve filter/silencer with engine...
