the only way I found to do it with the auto is to remove the blanking plate on the back of the drive plate and put a locking pin in,I believe a drill bit of the correct size will do the trick too,just can't remember what size,I torqued mine up to 300nm as thats as far as the wrench would go. If...

Fuse is the 15 amp one in the fuse box in engine bay if I remember correctly,mine used to blow it for fun till I changed the fuel stop soleniod!

What he said,got mine end Dec,turbo went following week,then diff went (again) on wifes freelander so wife muttered something about F%*kink landrovers and divorce,to be honest,wasnt listening as was outside fixing me Disco.......:p Do it mate,best thing you'll ever do :crazy_driver:

Mine was just the same,changed all filters,glow plugs etc,to no avail,then I tought,hang on,got a spare battery,so put that on,now have 2 batteries and she fires first time,every time.:crazy:

EGR valve? mine did this,turned out the EGR had been blanked off,but refitted over the blanking plate,sprung a small leak past the plate and the rest as they say is.......

Oh she only lifts to just over the bottom of the guage,but to be honest,I aint done any great mileage since I changed the turbo,guess I need to have a run really....oh one other thing,when she's reved,the coolant rushes back into the header tank,very visably,but everything else seems ok!
