    You can't for the Freelancer as you have to buy the whole light fitting but as I said the clips are the same as the disco which you can buy separately (don't figure) and that is what Landrover told me Paul

    I replaced both of mine and got them from my local independent 4x4 land rover dealer, I did have the part number which I got from Land Rover but lost it. The spire clips are the same as what is used on the Disco Number plate light only 90p each sorry cant be any more help than that Paul

    Would not recommend this unless on grass or loose stones because as soon as you try to change into second gear (foot of the accelerator) HDC cuts straight in nearly put me through the windscreen as I had accidentally switched it on while hoovering the car out and had not noticed boy does it...

    Almost the same happened today on the wife's Td4 2005 selected reverse and instead of the usual long bleep this time it bleeped several times with the switch flashing also. Cleaned the sensors as they were very dirty and everything working fine again Paul

    Seems like that point in time when demand is starting to climb to change VCU and/or bearings so prices shoot up and as soon as demand drops and there stock is high the prices will drop obviously watching the forums :boom:

    Ouch how much a friend at work has just had his bearings replaced for just a tad over £130 inc parts but not sure what make bearings he got. His is a 54 plate but very low mileage my good lady's is a 55 plate with 97,000 on the clock same bearings and VCU so possibly my turn to get underneath...
