When cold (only on occasions) my Defender 90 TD5 is extremely slow off the mark. 55k miles. After about 3 minutes it perks up and zooms off. Could this be down to the ERG? Thanks in anticipation.

Just popped out to fill up the washer bottle and the was no resistance from the bonnet release handle. The bonnet is shut tight. Anyone had this problem before. Need to get into engine bay without a can opener if possible.:(

Power from windscreen washers is very low. Just about reaches the bottom of the windscreen. Tried searching but no real answers that I could find. Are all 90 TD5's similer? I would like to remove the tank tp clean out. Is this a fairly easy job?

3am eureka moment. Floor door rubber split on door handle side, about 2" long. Thought I would remove and turn around so that the split was on the hinge side. Removed and found that this is not possible due to profile. I did notice that the hole down the middle of the profile was quite large...

Rear x member and door hinge bolts. Mostly completed except for bottom right hand hinge bolt to body. Have slackened off bottom bolt which I thought was into captive nut as on middle hinge but is now just spinning and no obvious access from below. Don't want to chance the othe bolt on this...
