    Saw my mate this evening the fault with his warning lights was caused by a dirty sensor on the traction control,which was put right, lasted about 2-3 weeks,and went again.Any one had the same problem? Chris

    Hi Rob-No he hasn`t fixed it yet,I believe it is booked in to go on the computer or whatever to find the fault in the next week or two.I will let you know when I hear anything. Regards Chris

    Rear doorlock actuator slow

    Hi-My 1998 Disco es rear doorlock actuator goes down very slow if not used for a day or two (new 12 months or more ago)the others go down quick.anyone got any idea why this is? The old actuator had a burnt out motor,could I have got a similar motor from Maplins? Chris:confused:

    cd player jammed

    Had the same problem on my Disco,After taking it all apart,I eventually found that the CD magazine that holds the discs had been put in upside down,I eventually released it with a screwdriver.

    Discool-thanks for the excellent link,and to the person who put it all together,will certainly come in handy. Mike-the drips on your head ,mine does the same,it may have something to do with my rear sunroof not working,i shall have to check them both out. Lucky it is parked under cover.

    I shall stick to sanding,the pics sound a good idea before and after,especially if it helps others. I will be leaving the tyres on for now,may do it properly when i get the time as the rims need cleaning inside,the tubeless tyres are leaking on the rims very slightly.

    Thanks for your email i have a Haynes manual here for 89-98 disco`s,looking at the circuit diagram for the sunroofs it is quite complex and hard to get at.with a total of 4 switches. I will have to have a look at mine soon,may be just stuck. Regards Chris :)

    Got exactly the same thing with my 98 tdi es,had it 2 years,front works fine but not the back one,will have to have a look at it sometime. Air Con works so i never need the sunroof,but it would be nice to have everything working. Regards Chris.
