The alloy wheels on my 98 Disco are now looking very tatty,and there is water under the laquer,how do i get them looking like new again.:confused:
 
Thanks for your help,very much appreciated,I think i shall just sand them down as in your link etc and lacquer them and finally wax them.:)
 
You could alternatively use something like nitromors to make an easier albeit messier job of it. personally I'd go the sanding route.

Whatever you do post some before and after pics, could come in handy for other peeps on here.
 
I shall stick to sanding,the pics sound a good idea before and after,especially if it helps others.
I will be leaving the tyres on for now,may do it properly when i get the time as the rims need cleaning inside,the tubeless tyres are leaking on the rims very slightly.

Yeah, only trouble with taking tyres off and on again is the tendency to damage yer rims, but necessary unfortunately.
 
what alloys are they? "freestyle" like mine?

if so a send should be easy enough but if they have anymore sharper edges and wanna do a proper job then do as yella suggested, or was it badadj???
