Im having exactly the same problem after having a engine rebuild! Iv also had another crank seal and t seals fitted to try and cure the leak but I too still have a leak from the wading plug hole, Im at the point now where Im thinking of buying another engine! Ill keep a eye on this thread as...

Looks well, nice to see old parts being turned into useful parts... How does it sound with just the center box?

Just put the fingers off some rubber/latex gloves over them and tie with a cable tie.;) Thats wot I did just to stop oil dripping everywhere.

Iv had this on a old vauxhall before and it turned out to be wrong brake light bulb causing the problem, so when the brake lights came on the headlights would also. You will definitely get more help if you introduce yourself.:)

Did you check valve clearance when you had the rocker cover off?

Just finished fitting snorkel and clutch slave cylinder.

Id get it sorted then.... its also something you could tackle your self if you have a little bit of spanner know how and a engine lift or hire one as I find it easier to take engine out to do rather than gear box off but some prefer removing the box, but without use of a ramp would be hard...

I take it they have quoted for a rear main seal, if its bad enough they can soak the clutch with oil and kill it, would defiantly be worth sorting out. :scratching_chin:
