Picked up a 97 p38 for a donor vehicle today and noticed there was a body coloured plate with 1997 and about 6 other numbers on the inside edge of the n/s inner wing. I know its not really important but i've never noticed it on any other p38's I've had but they have been very early models.

The headlining above the boot area of my classics got about a 4 inch round patch of where the headlining cloth is coming away from the backing,I was thinking of getting some kind of spray glue and making a slice in the cloth? any ideas or methods you've used on yours please.

I need to remove + replace the transfer box on a 92 disco 200tdi,can anyone tell me please if its possible to remove the transfer box on its own or is it easyer to remove the gearbox/transfer box as one?:confused:

I've had to remove my front prop last week as the viscous unit had siezed (suprise suprise).I've been offered another coupling by a friend who says its ok but don't really fancy taking a chance.Is there any way to test a unit thats removed from the box,and also can anyone recommend the best...

Was wondering if the sliding joint on front prop should be at the diff end (front) or transfer box end? Or dosn't it make a difference:confused:

Just noticed a fuel leak coming from the top of the tank area,took the inspection plate off and the tank sender seems to be leaking on one of the outlets,its rusted through (suprise on a landy).what i'm wondering is can i fit the plastic type from the 94 onwards or do i nead to get one of the...

The clutch slave cyl has gone on the disco and i've found my spare but have noticed the clutch fork push rod is not part of the cylinder or attached to it.this might seem a stupid question but when i unbolt my old cylinder is there any danger of the rod falling into the box or is that not possible?
