The scanner is a u480 obd11/eobd11 memo scanner. From the book it suggests that around 2004 many eu light diesels had to be obd11 compliant as my wonderful when it works car is 2003 , I wonder if this late model is ..wonder I said, I'm allowed to wonder ... what do u think I'm in cloud cuckoo...

It seems likely that either injector seals gave up or has been said the internal galleries that supply diesel to and take excess away fro the injectors has a tiny crack in it / gone porous, mine did and would push 2 litres of diesel into oil in just 150miles.A s you have figured this soon...

I believe it is only 1 possibility but...On each wheel is a speed sensor and cable, the cable has a plug and socket if memory serves, you may choose to take of each wheeel and look for the speed sensor cable and check for damage and undo and re do the plug, squirt a bit of Wd 40 etc for good...

fitted new turners today, all odd bits to connect tomorrow then.. fingers crossed, prayers said.. will let you know..

What price would a head be 1200 +vat turners ? Never mind the milage what is the body work, chasis, gearbox like, you'll spend what 2,500 plus so you want to drive it ofr another 4 or 5 years ? boound to be other repirs, what else have you replaced thus far.. fun deceisions , NOT . I'm trying...

thanks tom, cyl head par, cornwall say they cut out and weld up each injector port to "guarantee" no more probs but locally Iam told welded heds will eventualy leak again due to the internal tension set up within the alum. casting post welding, at half the price .... but boy I don't want this...

Look at turner engineeering or paddocks spares for injectors,and required seals for each of them, and buy it yourself and get garage to fit it, it might save you a 100 and I see you are really having a bad time of it, me too so all sympathy. Ask all questions, however silly you feel at least...

"if the injectors are OK " you mean the seals? or are you suggesting that if an injector is seriously buggered ( technical term ) it could be flodding diesel into the cylinder which in turn leaks past ( new ) piston rings into the sump ?? Possible ? but likely ??? Love it if true injector 200...

We've changed the injector seals twice, very carefully and still get a litre of diesel in the oil within 100km. The head was supposedly tested when hot and did not leak. Cannot imagine any other way diessel is getting in? Can you? Any thoughts appreciated 1000 + for new head is too hard...

Persevere, ! ours is just the same, it seems to be related to how far in the key is, talking fractions of a mm., obviously not right but if I take the key in and out many times it suddenly turns with no abnormal pressure or stickiness... havent investigated as am struggling with diesel in oil...
