I have changed the inlet manifold on my stage 1 v8 109 I have come across a strange pipe that come from the exhaust on the offside that connects to the top centre of the inlet manifold any one know what this is and or does Thanks

A 2.5 Td now it's a 3.9 efi from a 96 disco

Will that work on the defender gauge

The sender that worked wont fit in the hole in the manifold What size resistor should I put in line

Do you think it's a bad connection

Oh and when I tried a normal v8 3.5 one it works ok however the 3.5 sender won't fit it'd bigger with a spade terminal the one I have in the 3.9 is smaller with a bullet connect

The temperature gauge on my recently converted 90 v8 efi always reads high even when cold it reads about half go's of the scale when running Any one know how to fix this

3 wires one to w on alt, one to power + 12 v and neg That's it It stays at 3000 reves all time

I have fitted a rev counter to my 3.9 v8 I and it shows 3000 revs all the time ? Any ideas

It was used originally in the disco and would like to try and use all sensors on the engine and box in this car to do the job properly and such Is it wired to a guage or a light ?

Most counters on eBay say will not work on rover v8 engines which counter can any one recommend

Please help How do I fit a rev counter do a 3.9 auto set up into my defender I am told the ones on eBay won't fit the rover v8, any one done this or can tell me which one will fit and how to wire it up
