    Hi The becm wakes when connecting battery /meter ,I have a socket in bonnet immobiliser.so when it drops to lower voltage I assumed it has gone asleep . When I open a door it goes up ,then after a few minutes ? Goes back down . The rf module I replaced 3 years ago (after joining this forum )...

    Sorry should have mentioned the car is a 2002 p38 The bonnet immobiliser switch is in the drivers side bonnet catch ,I found a tapered 12mm half inch socket pushed in hole does the job , I must admit a switch on battery would be a last resort . Have pm rickthepick see if it is becm Cheers John

    thanks db was just concerned as it was putting out 12.30v. they would say it was charged and it just isnt powerfull enough although it was there reccomendation according to my reg and there computer ,its 550amp mod nmb hcb072 ,or has my rf problem weakened its storage ?thanks
